Privacy policy

This page explains what data sleda.app collects, why, and what you can do about it. Sleda is responsible for this data. If you have a question, write to sleda.app@gmail.com.

The waitlist

When you join the waitlist, we store your email address and the language of the page you signed up on. We use them for one thing: to email you, in your language, when Sleda launches.

Signing up is your consent to this, and you can withdraw it anytime. We keep your address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Every email from us has an unsubscribe link. We don’t sell your address or give it to anyone for their own marketing.

Analytics

If you click “Accept” in the cookie banner, we use PostHog to understand how people use the site: which pages they open, what they click, which device and browser they use, roughly which country they’re in, and when something breaks. This can include recordings of how you move around a page. Anything you type into a field stays hidden. PostHog stores an identifier in your browser so it can tell visits apart.

If you click “Decline”, or don’t choose, PostHog isn’t loaded at all and nothing is stored. You can change your mind anytime with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.

What we keep in your browser

Whatever you choose about analytics, the site keeps two small things. Your answer to the cookie banner, so we don’t ask again on every page. And if you pick a language from the menu, a cookie called “locale”, so the site opens in that language next time. Both are needed for the site to work and hold nothing else.

Services we use

Vercel hosts the site and, like any web server, briefly logs technical details of each request, such as your IP address. Resend stores the waitlist and sends our emails. PostHog provides the analytics. These companies process data only to provide their service to us. Some of them are based in the United States, and our agreements with them cover those transfers with the EU’s standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. You can also withdraw your consent anytime: unsubscribe from our emails, or decline analytics in “Cookie settings”. To make a request, write to sleda.app@gmail.com. We’ll reply within a month.

If you think we’re mishandling your data, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Changes to this policy

When the Sleda app launches, we’ll extend this policy to cover it. The date at the top changes whenever we update it.
